Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple data & analytics projects for a multi workstream client engagement
  • Lead analysis, architecture, design, and development of cloud data warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions
  • Demonstrate expertise in leading/supervising Agile projects to successful business outcomes
  • Work with Product Owners and Solution Architects to define requirements and deliver
  • Manage each project’s scope, customer expectation and timeline
  • Provide guidance, coaching, mentoring, and day-to-day direction for the project team
  • Conduct and lead whiteboarding sessions, workshops, design sessions, and project meetings, while building strong client relations
  • Collaborate in the creation and improvement of Data Platform & Business Intelligence solutions
  • Help manage the project estimations and plans
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration with offshore team
  • Deliver on the technical scope of projects & demonstrate thought leadership
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint, help teams implement changes effectively
  • Guide customer and development teams to achieve higher scrum maturity

 Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience managing data & analytics projects in a consulting environment
  • Must have experience leading teams of 10 or more, projects over $1M in annual budget 
  • Proven experience in leading solution delivery for Business Intelligence teams
  • Proven experience communicating value proposition of technical initiatives to non-technical executive stakeholders
  • Experience forming working relationships with senior level/executive stakeholders
  • Expertise in Agile software delivery methodologies: Scrum & Kanban
  • Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
  • Experience contributing to pre-sales activities, including participating in proposal presentations, and providing demos
  • Experience in BI strategy & enablement, specifically in Power BI
  • Experience in Cloud Data Platforms, specifically in Azure
  • Passion for Analytics and Business Intelligence and the ability to communicate its value as a strategic business advantage
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills (both in presentation and comprehension), along with the aptitude for thought leadership in analytics

  • Power BI Certification
  • Azure Data Platform Certification
  • Exposure to using Rally (Optional)
