Job Description
Big Data Architects for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Bothell, WA). design and construct enterprise database systems and develop software applications using data warehousing and ETL design. Drive optimal reference architecture for efficient deployment of enterprise data for operational and analytical needs. Define ODS, EDW, and Operational Reporting concepts throughout development process. Support deployment of enterprise data modeling, data stewardship, metadata, and data-quality processes and applications. Create reference data architecture; develop technology roadmaps for big data analytics applications. Recommend design-technology integration patterns, designs, tests, and analytical models. Provide design for Cloud data service-based solutions in support of data analytics. Technical environment: Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, Apache Spark, Scala, Python, Hadoop, Hive, SAP Power Designer, SQL, PL/SQL, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Palantir Foundry.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or as a database architect OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or as a database architect required.
