Terms of use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Price IQ (the “Tool”), a Microsoft Fabric workload provided by iLink Digital, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Tool on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Description of Service

Price IQ is a pricing and cost-planning workload that runs within your Microsoft Fabric tenant. It allows you to set up projects, upload pricing and planning data, and generate cost estimates and reports. Certain features may, in the future, integrate with other items already present in your Fabric tenant (e.g., datasets, pipelines, or reports); such integrations will only be enabled with your explicit configuration and consent.

3. License and Availability

Price IQ may be made available to you either (a) through Microsoft AppSource/Marketplace, in which case Microsoft’s applicable marketplace terms also apply to your purchase and billing, or (b) directly under a separate agreement (MSA/SOW) between you and iLink Digital. Where there is a conflict between those commercial terms and these Terms of Service regarding use of the Tool itself, these Terms of Service govern.

4. User-Uploaded Data

During Project Setup, you may upload pricing data, cost models, product/service catalogs, or other business data (“Project Data”). You retain all ownership rights to your Project Data. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and right to use any Project Data you upload. iLink processes Project Data solely to provide the Tool’s functionality (calculations, reports, storage within your Fabric tenant) and does not use it to train models or share it with third parties, except as required to operate the Tool or comply with law.

5. Future Tenant Integrations

If and when Price IQ offers integration with other items in your Fabric tenant, such access will be scoped to what you explicitly authorize (e.g., via Fabric permissions/OAuth consent), and these Terms of Service will be updated to describe the scope of that access before it is enabled.

6. Data Storage, Processing, and Retention

Your Project Data is stored at rest in a Fabric SQL database within your own Microsoft Fabric tenant. Certain calculations and processing operations are performed on iLink Digital’s own tenant/compute environment; Project Data may transit to iLink’s tenant temporarily for this purpose and is not persistently retained there beyond what is needed to complete processing.

In addition, iLink stores the following identifiers to enable the Tool’s operation and reconnect you to your data: your Fabric Tenant ID, Workspace ID, Database ID, and the Price IQ Item ID. These identifiers are retained until you delete them on your end (e.g., by removing the workspace/item connection or uninstalling the Tool); they do not include the underlying Project Data itself.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Tool to upload data you do not have rights to, to reverse-engineer the Tool, or to use it in violation of applicable law or Microsoft Fabric’s own terms of use.

8. Estimates and Disclaimers

Pricing outputs, cost estimates, and recommendations generated by the Tool are estimates based on the data you provide and are not guarantees of actual cost, pricing, or savings. You are responsible for independently verifying results before relying on them for business decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, iLink Digital’s liability arising from use of the Tool is limited to direct damages and shall not exceed the fees paid for the Tool in the twelve months preceding the claim. iLink is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including business decisions made based on Tool outputs.

10. Changes to the Tool and Terms

iLink may update the Tool’s features and these Terms of Service from time to time, particularly as new tenant-integration capabilities are added. Material changes will be communicated in-app or via the distribution channel (Marketplace listing or direct agreement) before taking effect.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate use of the Tool per the applicable commercial agreement (Marketplace subscription terms or direct MSA/SOW). Upon termination, your Project Data remains in your own Fabric tenant, subject to your organization’s data retention practices.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be directed to iLink Digital’s Price IQ product team through the contact form.
