Job Description

Programmer Analysts for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Bothell, WA). Design dashboards to help product managers analyze data and make better informed business decisions. Perform requirements elicitation, data analysis and modeling, and writing code to create aggregated data which will be visualized using the dashboards and reports. Work with product managers to elicit requirements, analyze and introduce new layers of data to continue enhancing existing dashboards and create new ones. Maintain existing data pipelines and create new ones when new datasets become available.  Create helpful content for business analytics, Power BI adoption. Complete ETL design and development, reporting and dashboarding. Perform unit testing, data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation. Maintain and optimize the data warehouse performance and continue to add more features. Technical Environment: Microsoft Power BI, SQL Queries, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL stored procedures, R/Python, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, relational databases, big data, data warehousing & machine learning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or BI/DW OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or BI/DW required.
  • Required skills: 1 year with each: SQL Queries, SQL Stored Procedures, SQL Server, Data Modeling, Data Analysis, Business Analytics, data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
